Becoming a professional singer.

A successful singing career inextricably endows one with wealth, name, fame, and glamour. With the proliferation of the media, the career scope of professional singers is ever growing wider and wider.

A lot many people aspire to become singers and musicians of repute; but, how many of them can fulfill their dream! In addition to regular practice and hard labour what more paragons of virtues one should possess so as to reach out at the zenith of popularity in the field of this discipline. Let’s try to find the answers from the perspective of Indian astrology.
According to astrological principles, firstly, the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 4th houses from the   Ascendant of the birth chart; their lords and the significators of the houses must have links to one another. For confirmation of the findings, the same thing can be judged from the Moon sign and the Navamsha Chart also.

2ndly, it is also to be seen that the Moon and the Venus are some way or other linked to above-mentioned houses/ their lords/ significators or all of them. 3rdly, the above-mentioned houses and their lords are to be linked with the ascendant or its lord. In a nutshell, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th houses and the Moon and Venus must form solid links. The role of other planets is to introduce a variety of genre.

The 2nd house represents voice and the tone of voice or seamless flow of voice; the 3rd house hobby, penchant for something and lyricis, 5th house emotion, compassion and imagination and the 4th house the mind and its psychological makeup for something. The Moon connotes the mind, enchanting power and popularity; the Venus glitz and glamour. These are the basics of the principles as to how to identify the birth chart of a singer in the making.
For example, let’s analyze the birth chart of the legendary singing maestro, the melody queen of India, Ms Lata Mangeshar. The following is her birth chart:-

Ascendant is Gemini; Mercury is lord of the Ascendant. 2nd house is Cancer, Moon its lord. Leo is the 3rd house; Sun its lord. Virgo is the 4th house; Mercury is its lord. Libra is the 5th house; Venus is its lord. Moon, the lord of the 2nd house is in its own house. The lord of the ascendant, Mercury is in the 4th house, its own sign. The lord of the 3rd house is posited in the 4th house. Moon is in the Nashatra of Mercury; and, Mercury is in association with Sun.  Venus, the lord of the 5th house is in the 3rd house.

Mercury is in the Nakshatra of Mars; and, Mars is posited in the 5th house. Again, Rahu is connecting 3rd and 5th house. The 10th house is in the Nashatra of Mercury, the lord of 1st and 4th houses. In turn, Mercury is aspecting the 10th house. Jupiter, the lord of the 10th house is aspecting 4th house and Sun and Mercury.  Thus, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and the house of profession are linked in more than one way.

Moreover, the ruling sequence of planets was very favourable right from birth to April 2013.

Varsha Pravesh, Varshaphal and Muntha effects.

Varsha Pravesh or Varshaphal and Muntha system of horoscopy are originally Arabian concepts which might have come to India through interaction between Arabian and Indian astrological scholars approximately 1500 years back.  For its Arabian origin, this system is called Tajika or Tajik system and it is employed for casting    only the annual progression horoscope but not the natal horoscope. The Varsha Pravesh system has been in practice in India since the time of Barahamihira (505 -587), the famous Hindu astronomer, mathematician and astrologer who wrote many books on auguries, and authored the Brihat-Jatak and the Laghu-Jataka, the two great treaties of astrology. Until then the Tithi Pravesh system had been employed in casting annual horoscope in India. Although Varsha pravesh and Muntha differ in the method of casting the annual charts but for drawing the inferences for forecasting the events of life the findings of both the charts are employed. So, they are c...
