Know the Height of your Future spouse.

According to the Hindu, beliefs marriage is one of the sixteenth sacramental rites in the passage of human life. The marital pairs are destined; we are just circumstantial occasions. In the social context, marriage is an institution that refers to our cultural milieu and conforms to the process of a social construct. From the point of view of a young individual, it is a very fascinating occasion of life. Every young man and woman wait eagerly for this epoch-making occasion of life.

The more romantic ones occasionally dwell upon fantasy land imagining what their presumptive life partner looks like, how far he/she is and what he/she does…The astrology is such a coffer of a branch of knowledge passed to us by our Seers and Rishis which can accurately answer such inquisitions. While saying this I humbly hope that the esteemed readers who assert themselves having highly progressive (!) outlooks would not label me as an oriental hypocrite.

In this post, I shall delineate on how one can know what his/her life partner to look like – his/her constitution, countenance - and complexion, etc in such a way that even one that it may e comprehensible to all. So, let us proceed step by step.  Firstly, we have to know the names of the signs of the zodiac and their lords; secondly, the nakshatras (asterism) and their ruling lords and thirdly the composition of the zodiac. For knowing these steps one may refer to my previous posts named “Relationship between the zodiac signs and Nakshatras, part 1 &2”.

The12 zodiac signs are grouped into four divisions on the basis of their representation of matters, namely, fire, earth, air, and water.     Fourthly, we have to know this grouping of zodiac signs which is as tabulated below:

Fiery signs

Earthy signs

The Sun indicates a thin but robust body, Mars a tall athletic build; Mercury medium; Saturn thin and tall; Jupiter tall and round; Moon medium height, soft and round; Venus medium height and robust; Rahu tall and disproportionately large; and Ketu rather short and thin.

Sixthly, the signs also represent the height of a person in general terms as shown in the table below:

The 7th house of the horoscope is the house of the spouse. In the North Indian system of the horoscope, we find a house marked with number 7. Now this house (Bhava) gives us all information about the physical constitution, height, and complexion of the spouse to be.  Finally, we have to proceed through the following two processes: -

A) Identify the following four signs connected with the 7th house: i) the sign of the 7th house, ii) the sign which is occupied by the lord of the 7th house, iii) the sign occupied by the nakshatra lord of the 7th house, and iv) the sign occupied by the lord of the 7th house nakshatra.

B) Identify the following four planets i) the lord of the 7th house, ii) the lord of the sign (ruling planet) occupied by the lord of the 7th house, iii) the lord of the nakshatra of the 7th house, and iv) the lord of the Nakshatra occupied by the lord of the 7th house.

Now in the following imaginary chart, the 7th house is Lira and the nakshatra is Vishakha; Jupiter, the lord of the Vishakha Nakshatra is in the Cancer sign; Venus, the lord of the 7th house is occupying the Aquarius in the association of the Dhanistha Nakshatra.

Now let us assemble the data from the above-stated categories A and B part by part:From category A we get:  1.    The sign of the 7th house is Lira denotes a long height = Long

2.    The 7th house lord is in Aquarius sign which denotes a short    stature =Long

3.    The lord of the Vishakha Nakshatra is in Cancer i.e. Medium height=Medium4.    The lord of the Dhanistha nakshatra is in the sign Aries which denotes a short stature = Short

From category B we get:- 1.    The lord of the 7th house is Venus which denotes medium height = Medium 2.    The lord of the 7th house is Aquarius.

Its lord is Saturn; Saturn represents long height = Long3.    The Nakshatra of the 7th house is Vishakha. Its lord is Jupiter which denotes long height = Long4.    The lord of the Dhanistha Nakshatra in which the lord of the 7th house is placed and of which lord is Mars.

Mars denotes long height = tall.

Now, if we array the above the height sizes, then what we get is as below:Long =4   Medium=2 Short=2. Now the final conclusion is that the height of native of this imaginary birth chart is approximately 5 feet 6 inches. (Considering 5 feet 6 inches of height comes as the tall height in Indian standard. There might be a slight variation in this height depending on the race of the native.

Secrets of Shannadi Chakra.

Shannadi means six Naadis, i.e. Nakshatras (constellations). Shannadi chakra is a chakra or chart of six Nakshatras. Shannadi chakra along with Naba Tara chakra provides additional inputs to the dasha and gochar system and, thus helps in maximizing prediction accuracy.   Actually, the dasha, gochara, Shannadi chakra, and Naba Tara chakra function like interconnected components in predicting the effects of a particular period of time upon a native.   Truly speaking, the result they give is amazing – almost infallible.    How is the Shannadi chakra drawn? The Janma Nakshatra is a very important consideration in Vedic astrology. Janma Nakshatra means that Nakshatra (constellation) which the Moon takes on with it at the moment of birth of a native. The Shannadi chakra is drawn counting the Moon as the 1 st Nakshatra or Naadi which is called Janma Nakshatra.  The names of the Shannadi Chakra are: - 1) Janma Naadi, 2) Karma Naadi, 3) Shanghatik Naadi, 4)Samudaya Naadi

Varsha Pravesh, Varshaphal and Muntha effects.

Varsha Pravesh or Varshaphal and Muntha system of horoscopy are originally Arabian concepts which might have come to India through interaction between Arabian and Indian astrological scholars approximately 1500 years back.  For its Arabian origin, this system is called Tajika or Tajik system and it is employed for casting    only the annual progression horoscope but not the natal horoscope. The Varsha Pravesh system has been in practice in India since the time of Barahamihira (505 -587), the famous Hindu astronomer, mathematician and astrologer who wrote many books on auguries, and authored the Brihat-Jatak and the Laghu-Jataka, the two great treaties of astrology. Until then the Tithi Pravesh system had been employed in casting annual horoscope in India. Although Varsha pravesh and Muntha differ in the method of casting the annual charts but for drawing the inferences for forecasting the events of life the findings of both the charts are employed. So, they are complementary t
