Separation and Divorce Possibility in Vedic Astrology

Separation, divorce and second marriage are becoming more and more common phenomenon in our society with each successive day. In the erstwhile Indian society, the concept of 2nd marriage was   incontrovertibly considered as a sign perversion or a dogma; but with the rolling down of time it has now become a trend! In this article I shall try to shed some light on the possibility or chances of separation and divorce.

Separation or divorce possibilities: -

Discord in marital life may, perhaps be attributed to mainly four factors: -

1)     Emotional instability or immaturity of the married partners.

2)     Outside influences such as economic, social and parental or family

3)     Unsatisfactory sexual life, and

4)     Infertility issues related with married partners (in a woman inability to conceive, and in a man inability to impregnate).

The planets responsible for marital discord or separation: -

The malefic planets Rahu, Ketu, Mars, Sun and Saturn are the main planets which are responsible for separation. Amongst these five malefic planets Saturn is relatively less causative of separation. Saturn if negatively associated then gives sorrow, agony, frustration and dampness in relationship; but it does not directly act for separation. Sun if associated with marriage related houses or their lords negatively, then the Sun can bring about separation and divorce.

The Houses responsible for marital discord or separation: -

6th house from the lagna is the 12th house or house of loss from the 7th house. 8th house is the Maraka house for the 7th house. Therefore, association or connections between the 6th, 7th and 8th houses via their lords or nakshtras is a strong indicator for marital discords. If this connection is linked with lagna then it almost finally signifies separation. Afflicted 8th house and 8th lord can cause separation. The debilitated, retrograde and severely afflicted 7th house lord and afflicted 7th house indicates separation prospects. The marriage karaka Venus if afflicted or repressed in the Rashi kundali and navamsa kundali both then this condition denotes separation and 2nd marriage. The same should be judged from the 7th house lord and 7th house from the Moon sign. Navamsa kundali is the divisional kundali for marriage related matters and, therefore, it is also called the Spouse kundali. The affliction of 7th house and 7th lord of the Navamsa kundali is the strong indicator of separation or divorce.

Certain combinations that forebode the prospects of separation of married couples are given below: -

1)     The 7th house lord occupies the 6th house and is afflicted.

2)     Sun occupies the 7th house in a female chart.

3)     The lord of the lagna and the 7th house are placed in a six-eight or two-twelfth position from each other.

4)     The 7th house lord or the marriage karaka Venus conjoins the 6th lord and they are either associated with or aspected by malefic.

5)     Rahu and Saturn are present in the Lagna.

6)     Jupiter occupies Libra in the 7th house.

7)     Sun and Mars occupy 2nd/7th/8th house.

8)     Mars and Ketu are placed together or aspected each other and Jupiter is afflicted by Saturn.

9)     4th, 7th and 12th houses and their lords are afflicted.

10)Rahu, Mars and Sun in the 7th house indicate divorce.

11)Mars in the 2nd/4th/7th/8th/12th house creates Mangalik dosh and can be one of the causes for separation between the couples.

12)Afflicted/debilitated/retrograde 7th lord supported by other combinations can be a cause for separation.

13)Afflicted 7th house of the Navamsa kundali by malefic planets is a strong indication of divorce.

14)The 2nd house of the Upapada Lagna (UL) stands for longevity of marriage. Therefore, the afflicted 2nd house from the Upapada forebodes a short life span of the marriage.

15)Sun and Mercury conjunction in any of the Trik houses and linked with 7th house indicates break in the marriage.

16)Conjunction between Jupiter, Saturn and Moon also indicates breakage of marriage.

17)7th house falling in a dual/common sign (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) and if 7th lord also happens to occupy a dual sign, then this condition forbodes separation.

I hope this will help the readers in judging the separation and divorce possibilities in a horoscope.

Know the Height of your Future spouse.

According to the Hindu, beliefs marriage is one of the sixteenth sacramental rites in the passage of human life. The marital pairs are destined; we are just circumstantial occasions. In the social context, marriage is an institution that refers to our cultural milieu and conforms to the process of a social construct. From the point of view of a young individual, it is a very fascinating occasion of life. Every young man and woman wait eagerly for this epoch-making occasion of life. The more romantic ones occasionally dwell upon fantasy land imagining what their presumptive life partner looks like, how far he/she is and what he/she does…The astrology is such a coffer of a branch of knowledge passed to us by our Seers and Rishis which can accurately answer such inquisitions. While saying this I humbly hope that the esteemed readers who assert themselves having highly progressive (!) outlooks would not label me as an oriental hypocrite. In this post, I shall delineate on how on

Secrets of Shannadi Chakra.

Shannadi means six Naadis, i.e. Nakshatras (constellations). Shannadi chakra is a chakra or chart of six Nakshatras. Shannadi chakra along with Naba Tara chakra provides additional inputs to the dasha and gochar system and, thus helps in maximizing prediction accuracy.   Actually, the dasha, gochara, Shannadi chakra, and Naba Tara chakra function like interconnected components in predicting the effects of a particular period of time upon a native.   Truly speaking, the result they give is amazing – almost infallible.    How is the Shannadi chakra drawn? The Janma Nakshatra is a very important consideration in Vedic astrology. Janma Nakshatra means that Nakshatra (constellation) which the Moon takes on with it at the moment of birth of a native. The Shannadi chakra is drawn counting the Moon as the 1 st Nakshatra or Naadi which is called Janma Nakshatra.  The names of the Shannadi Chakra are: - 1) Janma Naadi, 2) Karma Naadi, 3) Shanghatik Naadi, 4)Samudaya Naadi

Varsha Pravesh, Varshaphal and Muntha effects.

Varsha Pravesh or Varshaphal and Muntha system of horoscopy are originally Arabian concepts which might have come to India through interaction between Arabian and Indian astrological scholars approximately 1500 years back.  For its Arabian origin, this system is called Tajika or Tajik system and it is employed for casting    only the annual progression horoscope but not the natal horoscope. The Varsha Pravesh system has been in practice in India since the time of Barahamihira (505 -587), the famous Hindu astronomer, mathematician and astrologer who wrote many books on auguries, and authored the Brihat-Jatak and the Laghu-Jataka, the two great treaties of astrology. Until then the Tithi Pravesh system had been employed in casting annual horoscope in India. Although Varsha pravesh and Muntha differ in the method of casting the annual charts but for drawing the inferences for forecasting the events of life the findings of both the charts are employed. So, they are complementary t
